Our Mission

The way women explore their image and identity today has evolved.
We recognize there are numerous ways to look and feel great, empowering us to make our own choices.
We understand that we each have a distinct image, and can be free of societal stereotypes.
And we are less swayed by others' opinions or expectations, and recognize that others do not define us.
The questions we seek answered now are more profound.
Who is my true self - my inner self? What is my function and purpose? Where do I fit in the feminine tribe?
We help our clients uncover their inner self and original design using classic psychology, feminine mythology and color theory, for greater insight into who they are.

Sarah J Engen
Sarah Engen (previously Whittaker), recognized also as the "Wardrobe Shrink", has dedicated over 25 years to helping clients see themselves in their true light. After training and working in London in 1997 with House of Color, she set up InsideOut Profiling and developed her 36 Image Types system, so women could perceive their true image and identity using archetypes. After relocating to the U.S. in 2004, she developed virtual consults to serve clients around the globe. Her approach has been recognized by the press in the U.K., Europe, and the U.S. She has worked with brands such as L'Oreal, Ponds, Marks & Spencers. Her system has developed into the Archetype Consults she offers today with the aim of exploring the invisible world - the unconscious self and our core being.
